Pet Lab Services

Laboratory diagnostics play a vital role in preventative, maintenance, and critical care for our beloved pets. Initial lab work while your pet is healthy provides a baseline for blood cell levels, vital organ function, and the need for parasite control.

Routine annual lab tests can show trends in body function and help ensure the maintenance of your pet’s overall health. This is especially helpful in recognizing certain precursors of disease processes before those situations become critical.

Lab diagnostics during critical situations will help ensure that a pet’s acute needs are addressed with correct interpretation and treated with the most appropriate medicine.

East Bend Animal Hospital offers several lab services and many options to cover all of your pet’s laboratory diagnostic needs. Our in-hospital laboratory provides comprehensive blood work, fecal testing, and microbiologic interpretation performed by a highly skilled staff of veterinarians and technicians.
